Skimmer pools are ideal for relatively small spaces. They are the most well-known to the public and the most economical option. In these pools, the skimmers are located just below the upper edge of the pool, with a gap of about 4 cm between the water level and the pool wall.

This is the main distinction between a skimmer pool and an overflow pool. Skimmer pools are often considered more effective in maintaining water quality compared to surface-only removal methods, as they are integrated into the pool’s circulation and filtration systems.
